Bete Google earth route maker,
load in NMEA data and the software will convert
to a route map and waypoint file to view in Google earth.
First click open log file-> and point to the data on the SD card or another .txt file.
Then click decode data->
Now the left window shows the GPS lat/long as distance in meters from 0,0
middle window the POD and sat lights in view for that sample
The PDOP value is the quality of the fix 1=Best and 8=Very Bad
The Box min POD can be used to only take samples with this PDOP value
or less so you get better fix's.
Eg if you set this to 2.5 all fix's should be +-2-3 metres !!.
